Ke Ga Lighthouse & Ta Cu Mountain
You will head to the Cham Tower which is a sacred area built in 11 century worshiping the God Shiva who is venerated by the Cham, you’ll admire 3 ancient cham Towers which is the cultural – oriented Champa in a nice full view of Phan thiet city.
Then we continue to Van Thuy Tu Temple (Whale Temple) ( built in 1972 to worship the whale) where you can see amazing skeleton of whales 22 meters which play an important role in spirit and religion of the local fishermen .. Here nearly 100 whale skeletons are stored for 100 – 150 years.
You fulfill your great feeling of visiting next to the Harbor of Phan Thiet city– there you will have a chance to see a thousands of boats and learn the local Life activities.
On the way to Ta Cu you can visit Khe Ga Light House island.
The Lighthouse of Ke Ga is the tallest in Vietnam and was built by the French in 1897. The island is located off Tien Thanh, the longest continuous beach in the province. It’s a beautiful spot, where large boulders jut out of enormous, wind-swept dunes. Visitors must be sure to bring proper sun protection, as this is one of the hottest and most desolate areas of South East Asia.
Our main stop is Ta Cu Mountain. It is about 35 km away from Phan thiet to the South. Visitors may hike up the mountain for free or take the gondola (cable car) through a beautiful tropical rainforest to the pagoda at the top.
Linh Son Truong Tho pagoda. At the height of 475 metres on the slope of the mountain, the pagoda has combined and alternated with the forest and mountain making an area as one of the famous and beautiful sights. Overall of the pagoda, you will see Three entrance gates, Main Hill, The group of Amitabha Buddha Statue, Leader’s cave and a 49m length and 7m height statue of “Sakyamuni’s nirvana” lying on the highest position.
On the way back to your hotel, you will have a chance to visit a local farmer’s Dragon Fruit Garden.
